The Antique Collection

The Antique Collection is an award-winning antique store offering fine European and American 18th, 19th, and early 20th century authentic antiques. Our 16,000 square foot showroom features a fine art gallery, 58 showcases (filled with orientalia, silver, majolica, faience, Staffordshire, and more), beautiful chandelier and lighting display, several furniture room settings, a Dealer Supply Store, and 500+ title Bookstore.

The owners, James and Mary Beth Massingill, established The Antique Collection in 1993 in Pennsylvania and later moved the store to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in June, 2002. While in Wayne, Pennsylvania, The Antique Collection distinguished itself in 1998, 1999, 2000 winning the Reader's Choice Award for "Best Place to Buy Antiques" and again in 2001 for the Reader's Choice for "Best Antique Store". In 1999 The Antique Collection was invited by Sothebys New York to become one of only 2,000 worldwide charter antique dealer members to launch Sothebys.com.

The Antique Collection is a direct importer of European antiques which are personally examined and selected by the owners prior to shipment. In our showroom and online, we sell all merchandise with circa date and condition disclosure. We welcome wholesale inquiries and offer trade incentives.
